What is this company all about?

So what exactly is a "small batch" company? Well, it is exactly that! We do not add chemical preservatives into any of our products. So in other words, our products will not last a lifetime on your shelf. As general rule of thumb, our products with water in them will have some kind of natural preservative and will last a couple of months, oil based products will have a shelf life for about a year.

Continuing on the thought of our ingredients, we use only the best essential oils, organic ingredients when we can, lovely natural oils for the skin, and wonderful hydrosols. That may be a new word for some of you. It is very simply also known as floral waters, hydroflorates, or distillates are products from steam distilling plant materials. Hydrosols are like essential oils but in far less of a concentration. When a distiller brews plant material with water in a large cooker steam fills the pot and, as it rises, it causes the glands of the plants to burst and release the oils and essence of the plant into the steam. The oils rises through a condenser and collects in a separate vessel. This is what we know as essential oil, but what about all that fragrant water that was steamed with the original plant material? That is hydrosol, or floral water.

So now you know we will do our best to bring you awesome ingredients in our products and we really do care what kind of products you have in your home. We want you to be a part of your change to a healthier home and you. If you have a certain ailment we might be able to put certain essential oils into your skin cream or detergent that might help you. For example I have dermagraphism, which causes hives and severe itching. I put peppermint and lavender in my skin cream, into my laundry detergent, and onto my wool dryer balls. ( Please don't use fabric softener sheets! More on that later. )

Anyway, I look forward to you going on this journey with us. Let us know how we can help!
